| Description: |
The leaves and bark of the willow tree, when boiled in water, create an infusion that will lower fever and reduce aches and pains (in fact, aspirin was created by refining chemicals that occur naturally in the willow). The few remaining stocks of aspirin, Tylenol, Advil, etc. are highly prized and therefore extremely expensive. For all but the wealthiest people, willow tea has become the substitute of choice. The weight shown above is a single liquid dose for an average-sized adult. A common side effect of willow tea is mild stomach upset. |
